16-YEAR-OLD ARRESTED IN SHOOTING ON WHALLEY AVENUE (12/1/2006) NEW HAVEN – A 16-year-old young man from New Haven was arrested on Tuesday, 28 November, in connection with a shooting that took place at 215 Whalley Avenue on 26 September 2006. In that incident, a 15-year-old young man was shot in the groin area in the parking lot at CVS. The 16-year-old was charged with assault in the first degree, carrying a pistol without a permit, risk of injury to a minor and reckless endangerment.
